In the great expanse of the American West, the smallest detail can wield the greatest power. Chipped pretty in pink polish, the perfect match of the rich red saddle blanket on a roan, the soft hands of a rugged wrangler - weaving together seemingly insignificant moments is my way of telling the bigger tale. And while this stage is not new to me, I've trained my eye and lens where the true stories unfold.

I have been documenting the West for 15+ years - and living it for many more. Texas is home, but ranches and rodeos throughout the West are, too. As a professional classical dancer, rhythm and body movement have long been part of my DNA ; it informs how I see the world. And likely why, even deep dust and dirt, its the elegant gesture, the fluidity of the rope, the freedom of the unbridled horse that captivates.

My work has been featured in solo exhibitions and numerous publications. It is part of private and corporate collections nationwide. Accolades and awards include being named one of the outstanding women western photographers participating in major exhibitions including " Cowgirls With A Camera "  Desert Caballeros Western Museum, Arizona 2014 -17 ,  "Western Spirit Art Show," Old West Museum,  Cheyenne, Wy 2017 -20 ,the 'Power of the Horse' , and the Curtis Center for the Arts, Denver, Colorado 2019 .  Solo exhibitions include the Old Post Office Museum 2020, Graham, Tx and XIT Ranch Museum 2021 , Dalhart,Tx.
